lyrics

Who runs around when she knocks on your door
I never doubted you we never connected
Cut out all the attitude and in the end I'll fight for you
No one can add a thing to my soliloquies so Texas-sized
I tend to be argumental I could never lie
I'm usually sentimental that's so clever
Brides to be forsaken for their altered state of North to coda chrome
I look around again there's still nobody home

Who comes around when I'm lonely and bored
Whose foot's on the clutch while the gas pedal's floored
A moment of innocence and Addie read some novelties
I picked up my pencil vainly wrote an I owe what to you
I'll ask a politician, "Do you talk to anyone?"
I'm in such misery I'm ill, annoyed and glum
She carries on about me I don't know why
You're mingling with George you make me break down and cry

I knew your kind
I dwell aware
But the main thing's for me not to care
Oh line a line can tuck you into bed
And tear your heart into shreds
Oh Ed meant tons to Louis Z and I know my place

Left by the road I'll land back on my feet
I'm playing tennis see me run down the street
My wristwatch is Swiss concentrate all my freedom
On tanagram wisdom in a sort of new direction
I go washing tons of clothing and you contact me there
Can this be the ending or a gone berserk affair
I got a note from Ish again he says, "How are you?"
She says she knew him sure she knew him back in California

I knew your kind
I dwell aware
But the main thing's for me not to care
Oh line a line can tuck you into bed
And tear your heart into shreds
Oh Ed meant tons to Louis Z and I know my place
