lyrics

I walk along the boulevard
Late at night, no one's around
There's a monster mash in the alleyway
It can't be too much further til the light of day

There's a bat in the belfry tonight
The howling wind makes me feel alright
Their eyes seem to stare right through you
It's perfectly clear that there's nothing left to do

Into the night
It's certainly alright
We may not forget
The night's not over yet

I hear a whistle off in the distance
I'm not aware of its existence
Dark shadows by the light of the moon
Waiting for daybreak, it's coming around too soon

I can't see, there's nowhere to run
I can't hide and it's only begun
A feeling stirs from deep within
It's hard to live a life completely without sin

Into the night
It's certainly alright
We may not forget
The night's not over yet

about

LAWSUIT Davis, California

Once upon a time there was a band named Lawsuit. It was a 10-piece band, known for its quirky lyrics and its energetic live shows.

The band played up and down California, were popular at the UCD Whole Earth Festival, had a standing last-Friday-of-the-month gig at Hotel Utah in San Francisco, and were regulars at the Palms Playhouse when it was in Davis, Ca.

The band broke up in 1996.
